This stage was designed by a class of eight PSU M.Arch students for the upcoming 2022 Pickathon Music Festival. The design required us to acquire a building material that could be temporarily diverted before continuing onto the next stage of the materials life span. We we able to transport 165 retired power cable reels from PGE, consisting of three somewhat standard sizes, and began the assembly three weeks before the festival. Shown here are some of my contributions to this design effort, including drawings and 3D modeling of the cable clusters, existing site conditions, renderings, and light studies.
